KIONOVA® is the umbrella brand of a product family that brings artificial intelligence and security to where data originates: the customer’s own network. KIONOVA® products process information on site, record every step in a traceable way and continue to work without an internet connection.
The ecosystem comprises 13 modules across seven layers, from the runtime environment for AI agents and the PULSE situational awareness platform to industry solutions for healthcare and document processing. Two products are on the market, one is available for pre-order and two have an open waitlist.

Why now
Regulation creates mandatory demand
Under NIS2, around 30,000 companies in Germany are required to demonstrate risk management, maintain defined reporting procedures and keep complete records. Violations can lead to fines of up to €10 million or 2% of global annual turnover, whichever is higher. DORA has applied to the financial sector since January 2025, and the EU AI Act is taking effect in stages.
Data sovereignty is becoming a purchasing criterion
The US CLOUD Act requires US providers to hand over data upon a government or court order, even when that data is stored in European data centers. For personnel data, security events and trade secrets, this is a risk that fewer and fewer companies are willing to accept. Local processing eliminates it at the root.
Local AI has become economical
Capable models now run on compact hardware drawing 3 to 30 watts. This makes it possible to offer AI at a fixed monthly price, with no token costs and no dependence on an external API. KIONOVA® fills exactly this gap between cloud AI and costly in-house development.
